The Boy.

I was raised by a conservative family in the heart of San Francisco, so I’ve always been a bit of a maverick.

My first memory of myself acting is of 7-year old Henry standing on the coffee table, putting on a vintage Terminator 2: Judgement Day hand/glove/gun/thingy, and presenting it as my own creation to my older siblings and their friends, improving as I went along. Eventually the toy would actually “eat” my arm and I would cry for help in the highest falsetto my little body could muster and then collapse. I would then repeat this process as many times as I could. And I did this for years. Take it from me, it was an absolute fuckin’ hit.

Every time I get onstage or in front of the camera or behind the mic, whether I’m doing my Randy Savage Macho Man impersonation or performing Richard III, I conjure that little boy who just wanted to bring a smile, a belly-laugh, and joy to those around him. And when I let the kid do his thing, I’m unstoppable.

The Man.

After losing my job in LA, sleeping in my Ford Fiesta, and ducking the man who—unbeknownst to him—was illegally sub-leasing his studio to me, I learned one very important lesson: No one’s coming to save you. Pick up your shit and move forward. Aim for something, anything, and get after it. Twelve days later I was accepted into Brown/Trinity Rep MFA for Acting. Three years later Coronavirus hit. But hey you know win some lose some.

I love Japanese anime, lifting to Phil Collins’ Sussudio, and singing a cappella! Channeling my inner John Belushi, I spent possibly too many summers cavorting around Martha's Vineyard performing with The Vineyard Sound—the island’s professional men’s a cappella group. I now proudly serve on the Board of Directors.

When I’m not going out on auditions I’m learning Japanese, playing piano, and writing my next screenplay, “The Sound”! Heavily inspired by my summers on Martha’s Vineyard, “The Sound” is the dirty love-child of Slap Shot and Animal House, featuring as much all-male a cappella as the producers will let me.

Stories of brotherhood, family, music, the individual vs. the collective, and running counter to the crowd drive my artistic engine. Keep an eye out for my work coming soon!
